Most of it is free.
The rest runs on a server.

Clips, overlays, VOD clipping and analytics cost nothing. Cloud OBS needs a machine that encodes your stream for as long as you are live, so it is a paid plan. Two things on this page, and that is the whole list.

Cloud OBS · Paid · Beta

Price not public yet

Prices land with the plan story.

Cloud OBS, the ingest server and the mobile deck are a separate paid plan, currently in invite-only beta.

  • A dedicated OBS for your channel in the cloud, streamed into over SRT or SRTLA
  • SRTLA ingest that bonds several mobile connections into one stream
  • The deck on your phone: go live, switch scenes, set title and category
  • Auto switcher that swaps to a fallback scene when the connection goes bad
  • Access by invite while it is in beta

No hidden tiers. No Pro. Nothing on the free side is a trial.

Why Cloud OBS costs money.

The free tools are a web app and Twitch's API. Cloud OBS is hardware.

An OBS per channel.

Every Cloud OBS is its own instance, encoding your stream for the whole broadcast. That is CPU time you would otherwise be buying in a PC.

Ingest traffic both ways.

SRTLA bonds your mobile connections into the ingest server, and the server pushes the result to Twitch. Bandwidth is metered on both legs.

The free tools are cheap to run.

Clips, overlays and analytics are a web app talking to Twitch's API. The cost stays near zero, so the price does too.

Most of it free. The parts that burn server money cost money. That is the whole pricing model.

FAQ

Before you ask in Discord.

What is free, what is not, and what the limits are.

Is StreamWizard free?
Mostly. Clip sync, clip folders, overlays, VOD clipping and stream analytics are free with a Twitch login, no card. Cloud OBS, the ingest server and the deck are a separate paid plan. All of it is open source under the MIT license.
What does Cloud OBS cost?
There is no public price yet. Cloud OBS is in beta and access goes out by hand through the StreamWizard Discord. Prices land with the plan story. It will not be free: every channel gets its own OBS on a server, and that server costs money for as long as you are live.
Are there hidden tiers or a Pro plan?
No. There are two things: the free tools and the Cloud OBS plan. Nothing on the free side is a trial, and nothing is capped to push you onto a paid plan.
What are the limits on the free tier?
The only quota is media storage for overlay assets: 10MB per file, 100MB total. Clip sync, folders, VOD clipping and analytics have no caps.
Can I run it myself instead of paying?
Yes. StreamWizard is MIT licensed on GitHub, so you can read every line or run it on your own server. You pay the server bill instead of us.
